Yes but we found the problem. We are using the Leadville driver and with this Driver The WWN of the tape drives have to be in the sg.conf and sg.links files. It was not and after I added them and ran sg.install I can see the 4 tape drives now….Thanks for everyones input on this…..

Have you done a sg.build and sg.install (as per the Device Config guide - txt version in /usr/openv/volmgr)?

Cfgadm shows the 4 LTO3 drives. The dev/rmt entries are 0cbn thru 3cbn.
But when I run scan or tpautoconf I get nothing nada zilch........

What /dev/rmt paths is it coming back with ????

Having a heck of a time getting my new Solaris 9 Media server to see
tape. The setup is an L700 with 4 LTO 3 drives with a Decru Appliance in
the path. Just spent 2 hours on the phone with Symantec support and got
nowhere. Any one have any suggestions or tips .....?????
