Our admins executed a kill script when we were back on 5.0 and occasionally had hanging processes (especially on Linux and HP-UX boxes) that ate up CPU...they made it a cron job. [hanging processes have not been an issue in 6.0 and beyond for us] That's how they did it.

It is available in bpdbjobs -all_columns output, but it's in the
variable section after field 32, so it's not the simplest to parse.
