I have done an in place upgrade on an environment that had a Solaris Master
server with a Windows 2k3 media server in an SSO environment. As long as
you follow the upgrade guide very closely and do all the preliminary steps,
things went very well. I did not have any issues in the upgrade other than
the fact that the windows server did require me to run the storage creation
wizard again after the upgrade to recognize the drives.

All
I already posted about an upgrade on HPUX from 4.5 to 6.5

I am also planning to upgrade from 5.1 MP5 to 6.5 - There are some nice
features in 6.5 that are nice to have, but not essential. At some point we
have to make the move, so we will plunge to 6.5

Has anyone done an inplace upgrade from 5.1 to 6.5 on Win2k3 - I have 4
Media Servers connected via SSO as well.
Just wanted to get an idea of any pitfalls? The NBU 5.x to 6.5 upgrade doc
is a nice read, but not the same for hands on.

Thanks.

Regards

S.
