I've seen that as well, during the restore if you select more than one 
image you will get that sometimes, select only a single image and (when I 
tried it, I did not get an error).

My guess is something like the same file or directory exists in a previous 
backup during the restore and it tries to restore it?

I've always wondered this myself as well, as to why exactly is occurs..
