Anyone out there using BCV's to do hot backups of Oracle databases ? I have
few questions
After mounting the BCV's on the backup host
1) Do you backup the filesystems ?
or
Start the database on the backup host and do a hot backup using RMAN ?
2) Also how you backup the archive logs and how often ?
