I went from MP1, over MP2 to MP3.
MP2 was better then MP1 and MP3 is better then MP2.

I had so BIG problems with loops in NBJM that had no other options just to
apply MP3 into production the same second it came ready for download.

I still have problems with MP3, but compared to MP2 that is now childs play.

My installation is fairly small having around 100 clients and and a daily
backup of around 2-3 TB and 99% Windows (anything fra NT4 to 2003 and SQL
server 6.5 and forward and God knows what else)

My best advice is for you to go directly from MP1 to MP3 as soon as you can,
especially if you have serious problems at MP1.

Main reasons for me to go to NBU 6.0 was support for SPS 2003, and the
reason to go to MP2 was to get support for Windows 2003 X64 Server since I
already had both in production.

Ed:

Just a question. Did you patch NBU6 from MP1 to MP3? If so would you
mind sharing any feedback as to what was better? We are currently at
6MP1 and holding until we hear better things about the patches. Anyone
else in our situation?

Thanks,

Bill

Crash 'n burn. I've installed my second patched npbem today and the
scheduler still isn't behaving.
