Hi,

I have added an SDLT external tape drive to our Netbackup media server.

This is to facilitate restore from old IV tapes. I'm having problems
since its not being controlled by the Netbackup library the restore just
sits there doing nothing.

I've tried to assign the drive in the gui to the restore job without any
success, also tried to TAR the whole tape from the drive.

Any ideas on how to procede?

I read somewhere that you can add an SDLT drive as DLT,DLT2,DLT3 as long
as you do the same all the way.
