Hi Dears,
My environment is composed for NBU 5.1 MP3 with Master Server Solaris9, 15
Media / SAN Media Servers Unix (Solaris, AIX, True64 and HP-UX) and 1
Library (ACS) containing 25 drives 9940B and all drives in SSO. Max
concurrent drives on this StorageUnit are 5 drives.
Situation:
In best time of backup normally reserved all drives (25) where 8 drives are
unused.
During backup, the tapes are going full, next tapes will be requested.
Now, the full tapes will not be unmounted, but the 8 unused drives will be
used for the backup too.
Now all 25 drives are busy and only 17 drives works! Further backups have to
wait, because all drives are busy. At the end of the some backup (after
6 hours), all tapes from all 25 drives will now be unmounted and all drives
released.
This situation is new for me in NBU 5.1.
Is it a bug or a new feature? maybe simple config of parameters in SSO?
Regards
Suzuki
