I am creating a bpstart_notify file to run three scripts at the start of
each backup. I need to be sure that the first script completes before
the second begins. The documentation states that to do this I use the &
at the end of each line in bpstart_notify.

=20

Does this work effectively?

Do I need to leave a space between the name of the script I am calling
such as:

/var/tmp/script1 &

/var/tmp/script2 &

OR

/var/tmp/script1&

/var/tmp/script2&

Thanks for any response, mark
