Ok, but what happens when LTO barcode labels, ending
in L1, are put on LTO2 tapes and loaded into a library
that has LTO2 tape drives? Will the tapes be treated
as LTO1, and written at 100/200 GB?
This is the second time I've seen this, they had LTO1
labels laying around and used them rather than
ordering new labels.
