Todays libraries are capable of holding many media types at one time. DLT,
LTO, LTO-2, 9X40, etc, etc. The library (StorageTek libraries as an example)
use the 7th digit of a volser as a media qualifier. This is a hardware
function of the library to prevent the wrong media into a drive. A LTO tape
may go into a SuperDLT320, but it won't come out...
It is critical that the correct labels are ordered for media when using a
library. Older libraries could be "faked out" with barcode rules in
NetBackup but newer libraries will fail the mount.
