I have plenty of swap and memory. I finished it and it was 1.2tb. THe thing
is there werent a lot of small files, there were a lot of large files, 2+gb
each. I had to break it up and do small chunks at a time. I think you hit the
nail on the head though but I think no matter the swap and memory, I think I
would have had a heard time with all of this data.
THanks for the reply.

How much memory and 'swap' do you have on your master? We have seen this tyoe
of thing happen if the system has a lot of smaller files to process. It can
take forever.

Here is what I got. I imported about a TB of data and I am trying to
restore it to another server. When I attempt a restore of a big chunk of the
data it sits in a queued state but if I try a smaller chunk it goes to active.
I tried to move the image files to ASCII per Veritas website but it still does
the same thing. I am getting it little by little but does anyone have any idea
how I can fix this so I can restore it all at once?
THanks
Aaron
