Given an environment where ALL administration and scheduled backups/restores
are done from the master server.
Only command line user directed backups/restores for oracle are done via
scripting on the media servers. ie. NO java or xbp
One type of library tld, and one type of media available to the media
server, DLT. ALL media servers are HP-UX
Currently I have ~.37GB on /usr/openv. If I could trim that down .2GB per
server it adds up fast 30 identical servers.
What directory/files can be removed from all the HP-UX media servers? What
files may seem to be able to be removed but should not?
This is not the entire list, but this illustrates potential disk savings
