Ouch!  I'm looking at this configuration and there's NO WAY you are
going to be able to drive those DLT7000s anywhere near their rated
speed.  You're just too CPU bound here.  Also you have over-subscribed
your SCSI chains as well.  

Sorry, I don't have any input on your problem, but this configuration
just made me want to speak out.
