Andrew,

This is a pseudo file which NBU should skip just like /proc -- I don't 
know if it's a Veritas problem or Sun's but it seems to be unique to 
Solaris 8 (I haven't seen Solaris 9 yet)

In the mean time just create a file     /usr/openv/netbackup/exclude_list  
  with a line: /etc/mnttab on each Solaris 8 client. That should do the 
trick.
