Hello all,

We are internally working on a project of programming a kind of =
Netbackup Administration Utility for Netbackup running on NT or W2K.

This because our company has no problem selling Netbackup, but as our =
company stragically choose for Microsoft, we sell this product to =
customer running NT or W2K. Most customers do not have very large =
datacenters, but some of them have a SAN with about 10 media servers. So =
a mixure of different not very big, complex environments.

Although these customers want to be able to bring tapes offsite, =
creating duplicates, picklists etc. These functionality is not offered =
with standard Netbackup, and as we are not talking about large =
datacenters Vaulting is not really an option. And as we are talking =
about Microsoft, the operators don't know scripting under ksh or perl.

So we are disigning a program that manages duplication, catalog backups, =
move unassigned tapes to a specific volume pool (f.e. Scratch), inject =
tapes, eject tapes.

In this fase of our project i would like some input of other people =
about wich options an functionality you would like to see in such a =
program, if there are people that are willing to test the program and if =
you think there are customers that are interested in buying the product?

Thanks for your time!

Rolf
