[Veritas-bu] STK L700-Drives down

We have almost the exact same environment.
2 Brocade switches
3 Crossroads bridges (3200&3250)
2 STK L180's
 5 DLT7000 drives in #1
 4 SDLT drives in #2
1 Sun L1800
 4 DLT7000 drives
Solaris 2.6 master/media server (E450)

We have done multiple things to fix some of
our problems so far. We replaced one of the
3250 bridges. We changed the st.conf file
to use Veritas' recomendation for SDLT rather than
Quantum's. We also have had another problem.
We were trying to bring SSO into the picture
and loaded the media manager software on a
second Sun box. Everytime we would bring
the daemons up on this box after creating the
storage unit it would try to reserve the drives.
This would cause this exact problem to happen.
We have since turned off the 2nd media manager
until we resolve some other issues (1-2 week
schedule).

Also look for SCSI tran_error messages
in the /var/adm/messages. We often see these
shortly before we get media write errors (#84)
and are still trying to sort these out.

Good Luck,
