check the bpcd log on the client and the media server and the master

also check the bprd log on the master.

I'm thinking it is a security thing.

if you are restoring hostA, using MasterA and Media ServerA. Are you =
restoring it to HostB or HostA, also where are you executing the =
restore, MasterA Media ServerA or HostA or HostB?

Thanks,

Bob

When this happened to me, it was because there was something wrong =
with my
SCSI bus. My tape library's robotic controller couldn't detect half =
of the
slots in the library. NetBackup, however, didn't know there was a =
problem,
and so it would wait forever, "waiting for media... to be mounted."

I discovered what was wrong by using "robtest" to scan slots.

  Hope that helps
