Here is a sample of the error that I get from the logs:

05/30/2001 12:47:29 inktomi-fast netapp0  media id 000013 is in a DOWN
drive, misplaced, write protected or unmountable; attempting retry with a
different media id

I know that the tapes are not write protected and I know the drives are up.
I just keeps trying different media over and over and over.  What do I need
to do here?  Is this the way pools are setup possibly?

I have an environment that consist of NetApp Filers connected directy to a
Spectra Logic Gator via fiber channel backing up via NDMP.  When a backup
starts Veritas just keeps mounting different tapes and never backs up the
filer.  While viewing the job monitor you just see where it just continues
to mount one tape after another nonstop until the backup window ends...
Anyone have *any* suggestions?
