Hello,

Win2k8 Server / Legato 7.6.4

I have installed the client on the newly rebuilt WORKSTATION. When trying to
modify the client from inside the Networker Administration Console by right
clicking the client and select Client Backup Configuration / Modify it reports
an error : Authentication Warning - Conflicting NSR peer information resources
detected for host <hostname>.

I think the problem is that the Client ID is no longer the same since this
client now has a completely different OS.

I see the directions in the Administration Guide "Changing a client name" where
I could create a new client, name it "old_machine" or something and give it the
client ID from the old XP_64 machine.

Then create another new machine and point it at the new install of Win7_64, but
I'm not sure if I have to go to those lengths.

Ideas?

Joe
