we are trying to add some Linux clients to our backup stack.

I was tasked with installing the Legato client v7.x onto a Centos 6.4 system I 
have suddenly become the wrangler for.

I checked the "matrix" at the following:

http://nsrd.info/blog/2010/08/06/networker-and-centos/

and it appears I have the correct packages and OS so it "should just work".

However, when I go to install the package on the Centos system, I am instead 
presented
with a list of missing shared object dependencies.   I tried to install legato 
client 7.4.3, 7.6.3 and also 8.1.
All of them throw the same warnings, except 8.1 swaps the dependency for 
OpenMotif just for KSH and wants slightly different GLIBCPP deps in 
libstdc+++5.so.

Can anyone please advise?   This obviously not correct.  I wonder why EMC can't 
just package its 
binaries so the required support libs are just directed to the package root and 
satisfy the dependencies itself….
