We just installed NetWorker V8.0.0.2 b172 on a RHEL 6.3 system.  Following this 
installation, 'yum' is still functional (we were able to do find and download 
some updates).

Tony - Sorry you got bit by this. The NW engineering team got the initial 
report of this just bug days before NetWorker 8.0 was released. The 
notification arrived too late to be included in the release notes.

Within the last week, the problem has been resolved and is confirmed for 
inclusion in the next consoldiated hot fix package for 8.0.
