You tightened it down too much on the client side!

The client (assuming a current version of NetWorker 7.x) requires at least 4 
ports, so the
minimum is 7937-7940 (since 7937 and 7938 are always used).

You don't want to change anything on the server!  It needs a lot of ports to 
work. 

For the clients that have to pass through a firewall to get to the NetWorker 
server, we set up
the following rules:  the NetWorker server (not any storage nodes) are allowed 
to connect to
ports 7937-7938 (tcp) and 7938 (udp), and the client is allowed to talk to any 
ports on the
NetWorker server and storage nodes. 

You should really spend some time reading the Administrator's Guide about 
Firewalls and
required ports.
