[Networker] Long Retention Saves Imported to New System
2010-03-23 15:39:01
The setup:
I'm migrating from NetWorker 7.3.4 on Solaris 8 to a parallel system running
NetWorker 7.6.0 on Solaris 10. Both systems are active with one running on
temporary licenses until I move all clients to the new system. I have tapes in
my "Long Retention" pool that I'll want in my new system. I am assuming I'll
have to scan them in. However, I suspect that since the client IDs are
different between the old and new system, the scanned in tapes may not match up
with clients in the new system.
The question:
How do I import old/long-term-retention data into a new system?
