i understand your pain, but if a company requires you to have this knowledge 
then they will be more than willing to pay for this course and the knowledge 
obtained from said course. Everyone is in the same situation as yourself in 
that to take on this course off your own back, is a cost that will need to be 
taken out of your own income.
 
if your doing this as a contracting consultant, then it is either a tax 
write-off scenario, and or an increase to your hourly rate due to the increased 
knowledge and skillsets which in tern will acrue the costs of the course.
