Re: [Networker] Backup failures

Hello,
Are this servers going through firewall ? could tcp time-out be occurring
? check what time they fail, how long do they run before failure and then
you may find the trend.
Also, make sure there is no process on this server that could make the
server very busy, i.e notes compacting ?
Thanks

Backup failures
have 3 servers that the backups are failing on. The only failure i see in
the logs is authtype nsrexec. I have tried stopping and restarting the
networker services on both the failing servers and the legato server to no
avail. Verified all the hosts files, and verified the network
connections, see no issues there.
I have rebooted the servers and the backups runs that evening, then fail
the following day.
Has anyone experienced this type of issue, if so please advice.
Thanks in advance,
gmanfredy
