If you log into NMC as administrator and look under the Setup Icon, then
the Setup pulldown there's an option to 'Set database backup server' -
this creates the client record for you with all the right config.

Datazone

Hello,
According to the cmd help guide.
savepsm.ps should be specified into the "backup cmd" feild, however,
mine does not have that settings and i don't have any issue.
Has this saveset ever worked ?

[Networker] Backup of NMC DB to networker 7.4.1 Datazone

All,

I have my nmc server as a client to my networker 7.4.1 data zone. I am
attempting to backup the NMC db. I am getting the following error:

1 retry attempted
No full backups of this save set were found in the media database;
performing a full backup
24050:savepsm: FAILED HY000 -697 [Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server
Anywhere]Error during backup: Error: system error occurred.

My client is configured as follows:

Saveset is NMCASA:/gst_on_livpwnmc01/lgto_gst
Backup command is savepsm.

Any suggestions. Anyone seen this error. I have a case opened with EMC
but we know how that goes.
