Hello,
Not sure if still true or not, but networker server consults host file
first when client name is FQDN vs short name, then configure your servers
host file to iclude clients IP which you would like to backup from.
If the client has any aliases then you must specify them in clients
aliases tab.
Double check your ipconfig -all and make sure your IP parameters, nslookup
etc are proper with FQDN & sort name from server and client.
If you still fail, check your client and add host entrie for servers IP
address and double check nsr\servers file to make sure backup server with
FQDN name is listed there.
