I have used inquire on proliants without problem, not sure how your
instalation is, however, make sure you dont have any security policy,
account restirctions, permisons etc interfearing with your .exe
file\folders.
Check the eventvwr on the server as well for any known errors, try using
specific switches with inquire as detailed on the map page to eliminate
scanning addtional buses and go directly to where your drives may be
attached.
What OS are you on, is your servers service pack level uptodate, check the
properties of inquire.exe file and its attributes to compare between where
it works and where it does not, i.e file version, date, compatibility with
32 bit vs 64 bit etc.
