If you enable it for a jukebox, networker will consider the expired tapes when looking for a volume to backup it's data to. It will then also re-label and overwrite the tape.

WRONG. NetWorker will always overwrite expired tapes in a library as required. Auto Media Management will cause NetWorker to label new tapes as required.
