Any help is highly appreciated.

What version of the NetWorker server are you using? What's your hardware and software configuration? Doing recovers from non-NDMP devices of NDMP data is broken in NetWorker 7.1.2, at least it was when I tried it in a test environment a few months ago with a Mirapoint Message Store as the NDMP device. I don't recall if Legato has a patch out for that problem yet.
