All,
I am seeing this type of error quite frequently over the last couple of
weeks here is one of the examples it is actually happening on 4 of my

I opened a case with Legato but they seem to think that the backup was
canceled by our scheduler. This backup has failed on the same 3
filesystems 2 weeks in a row. The admin of the machine says that there
are no issues with these filesystems. To me it almost appears to be some
sort of corruption in the media database (which I rebuilt for this client
prior to the latest failed backup).
Background.
Server Solaris 8
Storage Node Solaris 8
NW Version 7.1.3
Client HP UX (version ??? )
these are backed up to disk devices on a storage node. (20 X 875 GB luns)
then staged off to tape (DLT 7K)
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Terry
