One can only speculate because you did not explain anything about the
hardware you're migrating from and the old hardware, nor did you give
any explanation of which NetWorker version you're using. My guess,
without any facts on hand is that you might have not have correctly
configured the tape devices on your new server.
Is the device you're trying to use with mmrecov actually a 8mm 5GB
tape drive? If not, that's probably what's wrong.
