Hi,

Looks like a similar issue some our clients with SAN's (especially large
SAN's) have.

Also quite prominent when you have lots of different operating systems and
version thereoff.

It seems like there is a block size difference between the 2 storage nodes
that you are backing up from and restoring to. Check all the various
settings for your drives and decide on a standard block size and try and
implement this across the board. (st.conf files etc).

Regards,
Riaan

hi,
we use networker 7.1.1 on a san with dds and dedicated storage node. When we
backup our oracle database with nmo 4.1 and Rman all it's ok with 2
drives.but when we try to restoring, networker doesn't recognize the block
size.
configuration: dedicated storage node=hp11i itanium
library msl5026 sl on san with a NSR
the robotic is driving by a server tru64 5.1A
any idea ?
