Hello Mark,

Does the tape pool containing your NT boxes is of backup type and if so,
does it store indexes entries ??

I'm reposting this because I haven't received any response.

I'm running Solaris 6.0.2.Build.251 on Solaris 2.6.

I have (3) NT 4.0 clients, (15) Windows 2000 clients, and (7) UNIX clients.

I noticed that media containing backups from two of my NT clients is not
expiring.
I confirmed the browse and retention times for these two NT clients are
properly set and that retention is a longer period of time than browse.

When I reviewed the Client Indexes, through the NWADMIN GUI, there are no
entries for these two NT clients. All other clients have Index entries.

Am I correct to assume this is why the media is not expiring?

If not, what else do I need to check?

If yes, how do I get the backup entries to show up in the Networker
indicies?
