After searching a long time and not finding anything, a little
friend called 'luck' helped me in getting notice of the feature
called 'regedit'.

In other words: It seemed that SAP is able to store and retrieve
some of its settings from the registry database. As you probably
expect, i found an entry under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\B10\Environment
for TEMP and TMP which contained "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp".

SAP was ignoring every TEMP setting in its configuration files,
local environment and global environment because of this setting.
After changing the registry values to C:\TEMP, it's now saving quite
fine.

Thanks anyway for all your support in this case and happy weekend.

With kind regards,
