|
| Or the wrong set of of labels
| Antonio,
|
| You might have the wrong tapes or the wrong barcode.
|
| The barcode is standardize this way for the cleaning tapes
|
| CLN = Cleaning tape
| S = Vendor is Seagate (I=IBM, H=HP and U=Universal)
| XX = number
|
| The L700 is smart enough to detect, from the barcode, for which tape
vendor is
| the cleaning tape made for. If you can go for "U", those are universal
and do
| work for all vendors
|
| If you look at the tape itself, you will also see the letter of the tape
vendor
| type : H, S, I or U. Of course, the type on the tape media has to match
the type
| on the barcode.
|
| Hope this helps
| Greg

| | [email protected]:IBM ULTRIUM-TD1 27Q1|Tape, /dev/rmt/2cbn

| | So do you think I have one wrong set of cleaning tape?
