Hello , all
Thank you all for your warm-heart to help me solve this problem
the following is my new found:
after I reboot the Solaris machine with " boot -r " , there has nothing under
the /dev/rmt directory. and then I preform the "#cfgadm -c configure c3"
command , it show the following
error messags:
"cfgadm: Library error: failed to create device node: 2001006451710ee: I/O
error
Operation partially successful. some failures seen"
however , at this time , I found that there have some device files appears
under the /dev/rmt
directory . such like 0, 0cbn ,1 , 1cbn ,etc.
moreover , I have checked the /var/adm/messages , and found the following error
messages:
"
scsi: [ID 243001 kern.warning ] WARNING: /[email protected]/SUNW,qlc@1/fp@0,0(fcp1):
Failed to create node, for pwwn=2001006451710ee; error=5
"
could anyone tell how should I do to found the root reason of the problem?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks again
Eric
