Hi Nelson,

we had a customer with a very similar problem after they upgraded to solaris
8. Even if they manually configured the jukebox, nsrjb operations would take
>30 mins to even communicate with the robotics.

They were using Networker v6.1 at the time, but after mucking around with
going to Solstice backup v6.1 & installing SBU patch T111962, and *then*
upgrading to Legato Networker v6.1.1, the problem went away. They had a call
open with Sun as well as us, so perhaps they installed another patch that we
weren't told of.

If memory serves me correctly - I believe this problem has something to do
with Sun D1000/T3 disk arrays, and the way inquire & jbconfig interrogate
them on Solaris 8.

Cheers,
John
