We have an STK9740 housing 4 x 9840a drives running through a Win2K environment
on a Compaq Proliant ML370 with Automedia Management enabled. We did turn off
the automated cleaning via NetWorker though, opting to allow the Autochanger to
do the cleaning of its own accord.

Our system functions fine with these settings.

As I read the manual, you aren't supposed to use automedia management on
drives in a jukebox. It is intended for stand-alone drives so you don't
have to walk back to some terminal and say "go" after inserting a tape in a
drive by hand.
