[Bacula-users] Bacula fails "Copy Job" instead of asking operator for media

Subject: [Bacula-users] Bacula fails "Copy Job" instead of asking operator for media

The setup uses Bacula, vchanger, udev, autofs, and cryptsetup on Linux to
perform auto-mounting of encrypted, removable SATA drives for off-site backups.

Several backup jobs were running simultaneously and Bacula had asked in the
middle of the running jobs for new media. The SATA drive was removed, a new
one inserted, Update slots command was run and Bacula carried on with the
backup jobs.

However, when Bacula got to the lower priority Copy jobs that were queued, the
initial SATA drive where some of the Backup Jobs were written to was no longer
in the eSATA caddy and instead of Bacula asking the operator to "insert volume
c0_0004_0047" it failed the jobs.

Below is the job log of one of the copy jobs:

This is Bacula v5.2.12 on Linux

I'd consider this to be a bug, and would be happy to post a bug report unless
someone convinces me otherwise. :)

Thanks!
