I am using v5.2.10. Here is a snippet of my status command on my changer
- in the running jobs section it has the spooling status for each running
job. The 3rd job down shows the despool_wait=1. By using spooling,
bacula will only write one job to the tape drive at a time. When the
first job below completes this despooling session, it will spool again.
That is when the 3rd job will despool to tape. This will repeat until one
of them completes. In the meantime, it is possible for other jobs to
start and do the same thing on the same drive or on one of the other
drives. I allow up to 4 jobs on each of my drives, 20 jobs on my
changer(both the director and sd files), and 20 jobs for mybackupserver
client definition.
