Tip: It's much easier to write RTFM.
If it was trivial I wouldn't waste the bandwidth. Please do the same if you having nothing to offer.

Hello,

I'm having trouble connecting to a Quantum LTO-5 HH with LSI SAS HBA.

I've updated all firmwares per LSI support and can see the device quite clearly.

I've run the tests and they all pass swimmingly.

What kind of tests do you performed?

[root@ohara log]# lsscsi
[0:0:0:0]    tape    QUANTUM  ULTRIUM 5        3085  /dev/st0

[root@ohara log]# cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: QUANTUM  Model: ULTRIUM 5        Rev: 3085
Type:   Sequential-Access                ANSI  SCSI revision: 06

Can anyone help with a working Storage and Device config?

Use a template available in standard bacula-dir.conf and bacula-sd.conf. Choose your favorite names and correct a device path. Test it with btape. Done.

best regards
