The build here is now producing libbac.so and the output of elfdump -s libbac.so | grep plugin is attached. There was a problem with libtool here which caused bacula to always build
with the effect of --disable-libtool which is without shared libraries. Now it displays the same ld warnings you have been seeing and is unusable this way. Building with -disable-libtool works as always.
Again this is on Openindiana/Solaris with the Solaris Studio 12,2 compiler. -kim
