Hello,
I test for two
weeks bacula, and mainly backup of a CentOS
server.
Everything works well
so far, but I am having trouble restoring
a crashed system.
I created my rescue cd from
/etc/bacula /rescue using . /configure --with-bacula =/etc/bacula and make
(in / etc/bacula/rescue/linux/cdrom) and I
hadn’t errors. Then I
boot the rescue cd, recovery my networks with
the command ./start_network, the machine is on the network
and the pings go smoothly!
My problem
is then, by running the script ./partition.sda. ( see attachments)
I make my
tests on a virtual machine, which has really no
problems.
I do not have access
to data from the hard drive that
is configured like this:
-/dev/sda
- lvm: 2 logical
volume (LogVol00 LogVol01) on
a volume group
(VolGroup00) and
two physical volume mounted on
/dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2
This is normal or my rescue cd is misconfigured? My
method is bad?
I'm not an
expert in hard disk management and I must surely be
wrong somewhere.
If anyone can help me, I
thank in advance
Kind regards
Antoine Laurent
