Hi,

I tried to import an old LTO2 Tape to the new Database with File Backup. I executed the follow command:

bscan -n bacula -u bacula -P password -h 192.168.X.X -t 5432 -c bacula-sd.conf /dev/tape/by-path/pci-0000:08:08.0-scsi-0:0:1:0-nst-nst -V DIHP01 -m -s

the Database is on another Server. Connection works fine.

list media after import:

+---------+------------+-----------+---------+----------+----------+--------------+---------+------+-----------+-----------+-------------+
| mediaid | volumename | volstatus | enabled | volbytes | volfiles | volretention | recycle | slot | inchanger | mediatype | lastwritten |
+---------+------------+-----------+---------+----------+----------+--------------+---------+------+-----------+-----------+-------------+
|     201 | DIHP01     | Archive   |       1 |        0 |        0 |   31,536,000 |       0 |    0 |         0 | LTO-2     |             |
+---------+------------+-----------+---------+----------+----------+--------------+---------+------+-----------+-----------+-------------+

0 volbytes and 0 volfiles. I havent save the Messages from bscan yesterday :(

so delete volume DIHP01
and bscan again:

bscan: butil.c:281 Using device: "/dev/tape/by-path/pci-0000:08:08.0-scsi-0:0:1:0-nst-nst" for reading.
01-Jun 13:42 bscan JobId 0: Invalid slot=0 defined in catalog for Volume "DIHP01" on "IBM-LTO2" (/dev/tape/by-path/pci-0000:08:08.0-scsi-0:0:1:0-nst-nst). Manual load may be required.
01-Jun 13:42 bscan JobId 0: 3301 Issuing autochanger "loaded? drive 0" command.
01-Jun 13:42 bscan JobId 0: 3302 Autochanger "loaded? drive 0", result is Slot 2.
01-Jun 13:43 bscan JobId 0: Ready to read from volume "DIHP01" on device "IBM-LTO2" (/dev/tape/by-path/pci-0000:08:08.0-scsi-0:0:1:0-nst-nst).
bscan: bscan.c:502 VOL_LABEL: OK for Volume: DIHP01

01-Jun 13:58 bscan JobId 0: Error: block.c:265 Volume data error at 26:7909! Wanted ID: "BB02", got ".c:2". Buffer discarded.
 Bacula status: file=26 block=7909
 Device status: ONLINE IM_REP_EN file=26 block=7910
Records added or updated in the catalog:
      1 Media
      1 Pool
      1 Job
     55 File

same error like yesterday and still 0 volbytes and volfiles :(. Any idea? Why Job ID is 0?

regards

Tobi
