I've got a Dell 124T w/ an LTO3 drive (bought used for <$800 on Ebay last year), and so far I've had no trouble (Bacula 5.0.3 w/ Fedora 14).
I may not be a very heavy user, however, as I'm running it on a home network (clients are: Fedora 14, WinXP & Win7-64)--sending ~1.5TB to tapes in a month (fulls, differentials and incrementals).

Used a standalone LTO2 for 2 years previously with bacula.

I'll happily share my config if you think it will help.

I’ve been having ongoing issues with bacula and my 124t. Anyone out there having any problems? If not, would like to know that as well. Maybe we can compare storage conf files?
