I have installed Bacula on a Linux server. I have successfully configured this server to be backed up by Bacula and the job runs properly.

I have configured a second Linux client as well using a modified copy of the bacula-fd.conf from the first client/server. I have added the client successfully and created a job. I can check the Status of the second client successfully. I can also run the Estimate command against the backup job for the second client successfully. It returns the number of files on the second client and size.

However, when I execute the job I see 1,Full not found executing Full backup, Using "Storage Device". Then nothing. There are no errors in the syslog or messages log of either system. If the check client status or estimate failed then I would understand the job not running but they are so I'm stuck. At this point my belief is it is not a configuration issue but maybe one of the client itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Information Needed
As interface I use Webmin, bconsole, and BAT (new to the product so wanted to get a feel for a number of options).
OS - 1: Server/1st client Debian Squeeze
OS - 2: 2nd Client Linux Mint 10
Version of Bacula used: Both are using 5.0.2 from the native APT repositories.

Just an educated guess, but maybe this is the usual debianism: if you have installed from debian-packaged Bacula packages, they propably contain "localhost" in Bacula conf files in place of fully qualified domain names. This effectively makes the server configuration not to work except when backing up the local files.
