One piece of not-specifically-bacula-related advice:  Rather than buying
off-the-shelf USB drives, you may be better advised to buy a USB
external housing and install a separately-purchased drive of known
quality into it.  A lot of off-the-shelf USB disk drives turn out to
contain the absolute cheapest possible disks, with predictable adverse
implications for both performance and reliability.
