IIRC - I need to investigate further - I saw something like this on
Windows Server 2008. The FD works, though. This was the Bacula Systems
supplied version, though, and the installer might behave differently
than the normal 2.4.4 one.

On Windows 7, the FD installed without any issues. Here, this applies
to 3.0.3a, and the Bacula Systems variant.

Both are the 64-bits versions, by the way.

On Vista, I've got 2.5.42-b2 (oops, I should upgrade that...) and that
installed without any issues, too. The same OS version you're
reporting - 6.0.6002, Windows Vista Business.

On Windows XP I've got a 3.0.1, which also installed without any problems.

Actually, I never started a console on a windows machine :-) The
consoles are not configured, but a quick test shows that bconsole at
least gets loaded and runs. This is on Vista Business 32-bits, Server
2008 (always 64 bits), and Windows 7 (64 bits).

I suggest you check the link destination - it's likely that, as a
regular user, you may not run or even see that program, so either use
"Run as administrator" or start it from an admin'ed cmd window.

Looks like a 64-bits bconsle on a 32-bits Windows to me.

Yes, lots of successes.
